About Us

 

Founded in 1986 by it's current owners Roland & Marilyn McCarthy as a Partnership initially as a small house building Company (NHBC Registered) Woodland Properties specialised in small design and build projects in the domestic and commercial markets. Roland's experience in the Civil Engineering & Construction industry having worked in site engineering and management roles for a major Construction Company brought a wealth of knowlege with a strong interest in design.

 

Gradually moving away from house building in the late 1980's & through it's commercial customer base a gap was found in a specialist market for high quality flyscreens.  In the early 1990's WP designed & started to manufacture flyscreens for the commercial and residential market from it's factory & warehouse facility in Berkshire.

 

To compliment this new area of work other specialist products and services were also introduced including  manual & electric window controls, repairs & servicing of commercial window & door systems, louvres, various grills, pvc strips and bird control works. Some products are despatched on a supply only basis to Builders Merchants etc  including flyscreen meshes & bird control products.

 

WP Products & Services are now used throughout the UK within a wide customer portfolio ranging from small individual clients to FSE100 Companies including all sectors of the Construction Industry as well as Public Authorities, Schools, Charities, Housing Associations & Residential properties from small flats to Large Residences owned by Heads of State.

 

WP also have a large wealth of experience working with different building types from old Grade I to High Tech modern structures.
