About our flyscreens​

We designed our own extruded aluminium flyscreen system specially to suit UK building designs to meet the requirements of Food Manufacturers, Catering, and Research Markets. Our carefully thought out designs ensure our products integrate with the internal and external building design to satisfy the most discerning Architects and Specifiers.  We have also ensured our solutions are the most robust available to give years of reliable service. Our screens are designed to meet the requirements of the Food Standards Agency; BRC and FDA.  Future maintenance is very important and can be costly over a number of years, our solutions will keep this to a minimum.

Our Experience​

We started supplying flyscreens in 1992.  Prior to 1992 we were involved in design and build construction and engineering with a very strong technical background and understanding of Clients requirements.

Installation service​

We undertake small and large flyscreen works. Our fleet of uLEZ compliant mobile workshops enable us to install small jobs at short notice with limited information available, eliminating initial survey costs,  the job is completed on one visit. Reducing hygiene risks and costs.

Larger jobs often require more than one visit and we have our own manufacturing factory.

Product Range​

We have a large product range designed to suit a variety of different environments from Residential to Commercial.

Doors:  Ranging from medium to heavy duty our flyscreen doors can be installed on either single / double action hinges or sliding section allowing you to have a solution that most suits your current needs. All doors are bespoke made to suit the situation they also have the option to include a security grill (recommended) that provides the mesh with protection reducing day to day wear.

Windows:  Our flyscreen window systems are designed so they will inflict minimum intrusion into a room while preventing insect access and enabling air ventilation. Ideally suited to but not limited to kitchen and canteen windows, we offer a very large range of solutions to suit various window types. Our most common flyscreen solution uses a winder with turn handle to open the casement meaning that the flyscreen does not need to be moved preventing risk of insect entry. Other flyscreen options include an incorporated teleflex system used for high level window solutions and a double slider flyscreen commonly used in reveals. 

Aluminium Louvres & Vents:  Various flyscreen solutions available. Most common option is a external permanently fixed flyscreen with either a insect or bird mesh.

Security & Safety Screens:  Our flyscreens can be produced with integrated grilles or we can produce high polycarbonate panels for windows and doors, machinery guards etc

Bespoke Products:  Cages for animals and insects, EMF shielding, Replacement filter panels for manufacturers.

Solar control/Sunscreening: Variety of meshes and fabrics can be incorporated into our products.

Mesh options: Our flyscreen systems allow us to provide a variety of mesh options: Standard insect meshes, to finer meshes. Pet Mesh, Solar control meshes and many others​​

Food Safety Act; BRC; FDA

Food Producers Commercial Kitchens, Pharmaceutiical Producers and Laboratories have specific requirements to ensure their products meet highest quality and hygiene standards. Premises are regularly audited. We will recommend the most suitable solutions for your premises. The product design must provide the following; exclusion of flies and insects; accessibility must be easy for staff(no climbing or over stretching), hygienic design(no dirty areas), easy and quick to clean(tool free), where possible openings should be openable without moving or touching the screens, product should not encourage cross contamination,  products should be of robust design, product should not increase risk of danger to operatives(eg hanging chains tangle etc).  WP work closely with small independent to Major Food Production Companies and their QA Managers,  we understand their requirements.
